If we cannot say "OUR LORD" and "OUR GOD", we won't be there anyway.

Twenty-four elders substitute POWER for THANKS that the four living creatures use. Perhaps because Christ in his resurrection had POWER to overcome death (which these 24 elders are thought to represent), these elders acknowledge the Lord "to receive POWER".

for Thou didst CREATE ALL THINGS and because of thy WILL they existed and were CREATED".

The whole universe exists because OUR LORD willed it to be so. Likewise, we were given souls, so He and we could have common fellowship. This is confirmed in John 1:3, Hebrews 1:10-12, and Colossians 1:15-18.
