2I know what you have done--how hard you have worked and how you have endured. I also know that you cannot tolerate wicked people. You have tested those who call themselves apostles but are not apostles. You have discovered that they are liars.

I know what you have done --

    *  how hard you have worked and how you have endured

The Lord is not forgetful of how hard we work - Hebrews 6:9-12. But remember that hard work is the result of faith and love - James 2:17-18.

Endurance results in God's compassion and mercy.

    *  I also know that you cannot tolerate wicked people.

According to Proverbs 8:13, if you fear the Lord, then you hate evil. Ephesus did not put up with these wicked people.

    *  You have tested those who call themselves APOSTLES and are not APOSTLES. You have discovered that they are LIARS.
